The Ati-Atihan Festival is also known as “The Mother of all Philippine Festivals”, literally means “to be an Ati”, and an “Ati” is the local term for the Aetas who settled in Panay Island many years ago. So if you want to be an Ati, go and smother some charcoal ash and join in the celebration!
